Wetland Plants Donated for Pritzker Marine Biological Research Center
Aquatic Plants of Florida, Inc. participated in a student managed, wetland habitat planting project at New College of Florida, located in Sarasota, FL. Aquatic Plants worked with the Division of Natural Sciences students and biology research lab staff at the Marine Research center to identify suitable native plant species for the initiative. Species were chosen for soil stabilization, waste water filtration characteristics, and salt/drought tolerances.
