SARASOTA, FL - March 7, 2005 - Aquatic Plants of Florida announced it completed an expansion project at its Myakka City farm to increase inventory, improve capacity and scale contract-growing operations.

The project included the construction of two additional 36 X 100, fully automated greenhouses,
expanding total growing capacity under cover from 4,600 square ("sq") feet to 11,800 sq feet. Additionally, the Company installed a second, 2 million gallon lake with littoral shelf dedicated to fresh water herbaceous propagation.

Aquatic Plants of Florida also updated the communications systems on its farm by installing a 62 foot wireless equipment tower and replacing legacy hard line wiring with new wiring dedicated for fax and telephone connectivity. The Company purchased an emergency, 25 KW standby generator system powered by liquid propane to supply backup power in case of power outages. These upgrades are anticipated to improve inter-office communications and customer service.

Commenting on the project, Gilbert Sharell, Sr., the Company’s founder and president said, “We are committed to meeting the needs of our customers and today’s announcement enables us to satisfy current plant demand and meet new orders through 2005.”
